WPL 2025 Points Table: The new season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) started in an emphatic fashion, as it was a proper nail-bitter between defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and underdogs Gujarat Giants (GG). Ashleigh Gardner set up the first innings with her blazing 79*, including 8 lusty blows. As a result, Gujarat hammered 201 runs in the first innings of WPL 2025.
It looked like a tumultuous task for the Smriti Mandhana-led side, especially after RCB lost both captain and new signing Dani Wyatt. Ellyse Perry showed her immense experience as he claimed a superb fifty. However, the killing blow for RCB came from the bat of Richa Ghosh, who played a sublime innings to power RCB to the highest-ever run-chase in WPL history. She made a blazing 64* in just 27 balls.

Match 2 of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 will be played between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and the Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara. As usual, it will start at 7:30 PM IST, with the toss scheduled at 7:00 PM IST. It will be a rematch of the WPL 2023 final clash.
