Travis Kelce is looking trim.
The Kansas City Chiefs star was spotted in New York City earlier this week, and there was one distinct difference people noticed: he’s lost weight – and a lot of it.

With the tight-end looking much leaner, he later admitted to reporters that he has lost 25 lbs since that Super Bowl defeat to the Philadelphia Eagles back in February.
His transformation has gone viral on social media, so much so that NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco Johnson spoke about his weight loss on their show NightCap.
“Losing weight is one of those ways to get your quickness back, you know getting some of that heavyweight off you, so you can be a little bit more smoother,” Ochocinco told Sharpe in reply to a question about whether Kelce can turn it around this season.
“I agree, I think I definitely think it’s going to help” Sharpe added.
“I tried to lose a pound a year as I got older. I went into my final season, I started 226 and finished the season at 223.
“As you get older, you just can’t move that weight like you once could, maybe some people ca,n but I couldn’t.
“He still needs to have that wiggle and be able to shake.”
Many expect this to be Kelce’s final season in the NFL, and so it’s no surprise he’s made a significant change to go that one step further this year.
Kelce and the rest of the Chiefs weren’t happy with the way the 2024 campaign ended.

Kelce also posted a career low in receiving yards and touchdowns.
As he slowly prepares for the 2025 season, Chiefs general manager Brett Veach revealed the legend will have a slightly new role for 2025.
“You’ll see Travis have more of an impact,” Veach told the Kansas City Star.
“Maybe it’s not in production but it’s the offense, the numbers won’t be the same.
“I think that when he’s on the field now, he makes us better.
“And I think that he’s also a guy that makes the people around him better.
“And when you have a guy that’s that connected with a quarterback, it’s almost like a little bit of him and Pat are a conductor for everybody else.”
