A new candidate for the Jacksonville Jaguars’ general manager opening has been reported.
According to Ian Rapoport, as the Jaguars’ interview process “kicks into gear this week,” among those that Jacksonville will be speaking with includes the Buffalo Bills’ Director of Player Personnel Terrance Gray.
Gray has been in the Bills’ organization for eight years now and just completed his third season as the team’s Director of Player Personnel. He was previously Buffalo’s assistant director of player personnel in 2021 and was the director of college scouting before that.
Prior to joining the Bills, Gray spent 11 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings as a college scout. He got his start with Kansas City back in 2003, working in the player development and player personnel departments.
Gray was among those who interviewed for the Tennessee Titans general manager opening this offseason and he also interviewed with the LA Chargers last offseason for their general manager opening at that time.
Rapoport would add that there are “roughly 10 or so” candidates for the Jaguars’ general manager role.
So far the names that have been reported include Ian Cunningham, Chad Alexander, Trey Brown, Brandon Brown, James Gladstone, and Josh Williams.
Mike Greenberg, the Bucs’ assistant GM, was also requested for an interview by the Jaguars, but Greenberg withdrew his name from consideration.
Liam Coen, Tony Boselli, and Shad Khan will be working together to lead this search.
