The Weld County Redistricting Commission will host three public hearings this month to gather feedback on the proposed redistricting maps.
Nine Weld County residents who make up the Weld County Redistricting Advisory Committee presented three redistricting map options to the Weld County Redistricting Commission at Monday’s county commissioner meeting, a county news release announced.

(Courtesy/Weld County Government)The redistricting process involves reviewing county commissioner district boundaries and ensuring compliance with state law and the Weld County Home Rule Charter — which includes incorporating data from the latest U.S. Census.
Following Monday’s meeting, the commission will host public hearings, which residents can attend in person or virtually.
The first hearing will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 9 in the Weld County Administration Building’s Pawnee Conference Room, at 1150 O St., Greeley. People can register for virtual attendance by going to bit.ly/3IpH1h6.
The second public hearing will occur at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 16 in the same location. People can register for virtual attendance at bit.ly/4ewtb8T.
The final meeting will take place at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 23 in the same location. People can register for virtual attendance at bit.ly/4lbz8ut.
Virtual attendees must register with their name, email and city. Upon registration, registrants will receive a link where they can ask questions or provide comments.
The commissioners will approve a final map July 30.
