Lady Caroline Waldegrave OBE is a longtime friend and colleague of Dame Prue, having met when she applied for a job at the latter’s catering company in the 1970s.
Lady Waldegrave is the co-owner and managing director of Leiths School of Food and Wine, which she bought with the former chairman of British Telecom Sir Christopher Bland in 1994.
Educated at Woldingham School in Surrey, she married former Tory Cabinet minister and now life peer Lord William Waldegrave in 1975, with whom she has four children.
