Should You Expect USPS Mail Delivery on July 4th? ...Saudi Arabia

News by : (Parade) -

As the official USPS site states, July 4th is one of their listed holidays, meaning that mail will not be delivered. To be more specific, no regular residential or business mail delivery service will be available on Friday, July 4, 2025. However, their Priority Mail Express Service is available 365 days a year “with limited exceptions” in most of the United States, so that most likely won’t be affected.

Is the Post Office Open on July 4th?

When it comes to non-federally funded mail and package delivery companies, FedEx and UPS don’t function the same way. While they might be closed for some bank holidays, they don’t follow the federal holiday calendar like USPS does. However, there are holidays they have off that correlate to USPS’s; this is one of them.According to UPS’s site, there will be no UPS pickup or delivery service on Independence Day, July 4, 2025. As for UPS stores, most locations will be closed, but not all. So they recommend checking your local store for their hours of operation. And UPS Express Critical  service will be available. So, does FedEx deliver on July 4th? As FedEx’s site reported, all FedEx locations will be closed—this includes regular FedEx locations, U.S. and international package and express freight services, FedEx Freight and FedEx Logistics. FedEx Custom Critical will remain open and FedEx Office locations will have modified hours, meaning they could be closed or have shorter hours. So check your specific store’s info before heading out if you need to.Related: Should You Expect USPS Mail Delivery on Labor Day?
