President Donald Trump sent a message to college football fans during halftime of Monday’s national championship matchup between Notre Dame and Ohio State.
Trump, who was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States at Noon on Monday, had the following to say: “To all the fans and players watching tonight, I know it’s been a long and difficult journey, a long season. You have 2 tremendous teams… go out and fight hard, fight fair and let the better team win. I’m going to enjoy watching it.”
Trump has made appearances at college football games in the past, most recently during Georgia vs. Alabama in late September.

Notre Dame bullied its way to a 7-0 lead behind an excellent 18-play touchdown drive, but saw its lead disappear as Ohio State scored 3 straight touchdowns to end the half.
Notre Dame took another shot to the mouth to start the 2nd half. Ohio State RB Quinshon Judkins found a hole and rushed for a huge gain of 70 yards before pounding the ball into the end zone plays later.
The Buckeyes lead 28-7 with 12:46 remaining in the 3rd quarter.
