Manchester United held Liverpool to an impressive Premier League draw, one of the best performances of the nascent Ruben Amorim era.
After a stagnant first-half in which Liverpool had the better chances, Martinez lashed a strike past Alisson and into the roof of the net.
Alisson: Was not hugely challenged apart from Martinez’s goal, which he could do little about. 6/10
Ibrahima Konate: Aerially dominant and largely covered for his right-back’s underperformance. 7/10
Andy Robertson: Could have done better for Diallo’s equaliser but otherwise fine. 5/10
Alexis Mac Allister: Liverpool’s best player. Assisted Gakpo’s goal nicely, could have scored early on after a brilliant run and dictated play. 8/10
Curtis Jones: Could not find a foothold in this match at all. Hauled off without taking a shot or creating a chance. 5/10
Luis Diaz: Had flashes in attack but largely acted as a distraction rather than a genuine threat. 6/10
Darwin Nunez: 5/10
Conor Bradley: N/A

Andre Onana: Solid early on and got a hand to Liverpool’s penalty. None of this was his fault. 6/10
Harry Maguire: Organised United’s defensive line well and did everything asked of him, right until the death. Missed a phenomenal chance to win the game for United. 6/10
Noussair Mazraoui: Still does not look hugely comfortable as a wing-back. Largely ineffective at either end but basically tidy. 5/10
Manuel Ugarte: An all-action performance, his best since joining United. Should have picked up an early yellow. 8/10
Amad Diallo: Covered every blade of grass. Between a key slip and a backwards header, he made two high-profile mistakes, but then scored another key goal. 6/10
Rasmus Hojlund: Horrendously poor once again, not helped by facing Van Dijk. Missed the best chance of the first half and you never believed he would score it. 4/10
Alejandro Garnacho: 7/10
Leny Yoro: N/A
