Akruti Hospital’s Dr. Vivek Trivedi informed PTI that Vinod Kambli was in a critical condition four days ago due to a severe urinary infection, which led to pus accumulating in his bladder. The pus was successfully removed after he was admitted to the hospital.
This issue Kambli may be facing is due to heart problems, as he suffered two heart attacks in 2013. However, it is being said that the former Mumbai cricketer is stable now but is kept under observation at Akruti Hospital in Thane.
Amid the well-wishes and concerns among the well-known personalities, the 1983 World Cup winner Madan Lal sent a strong message to Vinod Kambli. Madan Lal urged Vinod Kambli to prioritize his health and take responsibility for overcoming his challenges.

Shrikant Shinde announces INR 5 Lakh financial aid for Vinod Kambli's treatment
Ever since Kambli’s health issue came to light, many have been coming forward to help the sick cricketer, including the 1983 World Cup winners. Recently, Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and the Shrikant Shinde Foundation offered support to former Indian cricketers.
Additionally, Shrikant Shinde, the Kalyan MP, has announced a financial aid of INR 5 lakh for Kambli, which will be provided through the Dr. Shrikant Shinde Foundation next week.
