On Monday, the 44-year-old actor and producer shared a short Instagram video of himself climbing the Himalayas, a trip that's been dubbed an "adventure of a lifetime" by both the Starz personality and his fans.
In the clip, Heughan sported a blue jacket, red helmet and black sunglasses when he began vlogging, telling the camera: "There's nothing like rappelling down your first mountain in the pool at 18,000 feet."
"So much to share, will post in the coming days but still a few more adventures to come…." he added before going on to thank the "incredible team who have kept us warm, safe and worked so so hard to make this trip possible.
"Dhanyabaad !!!! ??," he concluded.

"Let’s not do this again ?," begged producer Alexander Norouzi, who previously worked on Heughan's 2021 docuseries, Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham.
"The altitude isn't something to joke with that's for sure!" a third declared. "Glad you're hanging in there and the scenery is breathtaking ❄️."
But not everyone seemed anxious about the adventure.
"An adventure of a lifetime, Sam," a different Instagram user praised. "Well done and well deserved."
