Moscow-SANA- Russia strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on the city of Palmyra in the Homs countryside two days ago, which injured and claimed the lives of dozens.  “We strongly denounce the violent attack carried out by “Israel” on Syrian territory. This attack, as well as all that preceded it, constitutes a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of this country and the basic rules of international law.” Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said in a press statement on Friday. “We must point out with deep regret that the fierceness of the confrontation in the Middle East has led to the devaluation not only of human life, but also of cultural and historical memory.” Zak
