TWO double deckers have smashed into each other – leaving 17 people injured. The buses collided on a busy Manchester thoroughfare at around 8.30am this morning. Eyewitnesses said the front of one bus smashed into the rear of the other, shunting it off the road. Both Manchester Bee Network buses were badly mangled by the crash. All three emergency services scrambled to the scene – with fire crews pulling one person from the top deck of the bus. A total of 17 people were raced to hospital following the horror smash.
