Shooting victim dies after crash in Franklin Township ...Middle East

FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WCMH) -- A man is dead after he was found shot and in a car crash in southwest Columbus Sunday afternoon. According to a Columbus police dispatcher, officers responded to a call for a crash at approximately 3:16 p.m. near the intersection of Demorest Road and Rock Way Lane. At the scene, officers found one man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. At one point, police said there were two victims from the incident; however, a later update said it was just one.
