High pressure moving away from the Atlantic Coast will provide one more day of gusty southwesterly winds and unseasonably warm weather. Wind gusts will reach 30 to 40 mph at times through early evening, as low pressure tracks across the Upper Midwest to the Great Lakes. A trailing cold front will arrive late this evening, preceded by several bands of showers that will affect trick-or-treating, along with a chance for a rumble of thunder.
