Manchester City and Chelsea was a highly anticipated match that showcased the best of English football. Both teams came into the game with strong lineups and a desire to secure their spot in the final. The match was intense from the start, with both teams creating chances and testing each other's defenses.

Manchester City took an early lead through a goal from Kevin De Bruyne, but Chelsea fought back with determination. The Blues equalized through Hakim Ziyech, setting up a thrilling second half. In the end, it was Chelsea who emerged victorious, with Timo Werner scoring the winning goal in the dying minutes of the game.

Axel Disasi, Enzo Fernandez and Raheem Sterling available for today’s FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City.

After overcoming small issues, the duo are back in contention to be selected for Saturday’s match at Wembley Stadium.

Pep Guardiola’s side switch focus to defending their cup crown after Wednesday’s painful Champions League exit at the hands of Real Madrid by way of penalty shootout.

The City boss confirmed that all of Kevin De Bruyne, Manuel Ajkanji and Haaland asked to come off during the loss to Madrid, although remained unclear as to whether that was due to injury or fatigue.

A key contributor to that output in the final third has been Cole Palmer. The England international has scored eleven goals in his previous six matches, including one against Leicester in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Nicolas Jackson got himself on the scoresheet on Monday with a well-taken goal having teed up Palmer for the opener. The Senegal international now has 18 goal contributions for the Blues, nudging ever closer to Didier Drogba’s debut season tally of 21.

Fernandez will start in midfield if deemed fit alongside Moises Caicedo and Conor Gallagher.

The attacking front three would be in-form Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson and Noni Madueke could get the nod ahead of Sterling and Mykhailo Mudryk, given his recent form.

John Stones was only able to muster ten minutes in extra-time, so will duly need to be assessed before the trip to Wembley.

Kyle Walker is now free of his recent hamstring complaint, while Nathan Ake returned to the bench on Wednesday.
