A TEENAGER has hit back at trolls who have accused her of wasting her life, by getting engaged at 17.

Most teenagers spend their final years at school hanging out with friends, going to parties and having careless fun.

However, Samantha Kay is living the life that most people don’t have until their thirties.

Taking to TikTok, the teen recently bragged that she is “off the market forever”, in a video that has garnered the attention of social media users.

Showing off her huge engagement ring, she said: “I’m only 17 and off the market forever.

“I’m done with school, have a rock on my finger, and am counting down the days until my wedding.

“I’m getting to live my dream life so young.”

In a second video, Samantha revealed that her parents were “completely on board” with the nuptials, and are helping her to plan to wedding.

“They are so excited for us,” said the blonde beauty, who is from Utah.

She added that the couple have been together for just two years, but feel that marriage is the next step in their relationship.

Samantha and her 19-year-old partner have decided to set their wedding date for just after she turns 18, the legal marriage age in Utah.

And they say they don’t care what anyone else thinks, as they are living their best lives.

Samantha’s (@samantha.kay21) video has likely left many people open-mouthed, as it has racked up over 3.7 million views online.

TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts, and opinions were divided.

Many were critical of the marriage, such as one person who said: “If you’re meant to be together forever… it can wait 5 more years.

“Trust me when I say this please.”

Another person said: “As someone who married the boy she met at 18 and had kids young… people aren’t telling you this is a bad idea to be pessimistic or because they “don’t understand”…
