Walbridge man sentenced for OVI — his 4th in 10 years ...Middle East

A Walbridge man who has been convicted of multiple OVIs is in jail. Steven M. Scanlan, 31, appeared for sentencing July 10 in the courtroom of Wood County Common Pleas Judge Molly Mack. He had been indicted in May 2022 for two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, a drug of abuse or a combination of them/OVI, both fourth-degree felonies. On Feb. 27, 2022, near the intersection of Oregon Road and Ohio 795, he was spotted driving recklessly.
