Threats made to Pomolita Middle School by a student this week via social media were deemed “not credible” after being investigated by the Ukiah Police Department, Interim Chief Cedric Crook reported. When asked for more details as to how that determination was made, Crook described the person making the threats as “an 11-year-old with no access to weapons.” Most parents were first notified of the threats the morning of Sept. 28 when Pomolita Principal Bryan Barrett sent a message stating: “today, the school was informed about a concerning media post made by a student.
