Lina Abu Akleh in TIME100 Next list for Shireen campaign ...Kuwait

Lina Abu Akleh has been named on TIMEe100 Next's list for 2022, owing to her tireless work in holding Israel to account for the killing of her journalist aunt Shireen Abu Akleh. Lina has made frequent media appearances since Shireen's death in May who was reporting for Al Jazeera on Israeli raids in Jenin when she was killed. Over the past four months, Lina has fought hard to counter Israeli narratives that its soldiers were not responsible for her aunt's death and saw her campaigning awarded by being named on Time's illustrious Next 100 list.
