كشف وزير الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات في الحكومة اليمنية الجديدة الدكتور نجيب العوج لـ«الشرق الأوسط» عن ملامح خطة، قال إنها متكاملة لوزارته، من شأنها استعادة قطاع الاتصالات وتحريره من قبضة الحوثيين وإعادة بناء مؤسسات القطاع وتحديثها بالشراكة مع القطاع الخاص، وصولاً إلى تأسيس هيئة مستقلة تشرف على تنظيم عمل الاتصالات، كما هو معمول به في بقية دول العالم.وتحدث الوزير عن توجه لتشجيع الاستثمارات والابتكارات ودعم التعليم الافتراضي عبر شبكات الاتصالات والإنترنت خلال الفترة المقبلة.
