مصر تجدد رغبتها باستكمال مفاوضات السد الإثيوبي وحفظ «حقوقها المائية»

أبدت مصر تمسكها، أمس، باستكمال مفاوضات «سد النهضة» الإثيوبي، مؤكدة ضرورة التوصل إلى «اتفاق قانوني مُلزم يحفظ حقوقها المائية في نهر النيل». وأخفقت المفاوضات الثلاثية بين مصر وإثيوبيا والسودان، والتي تجري برعاية الاتحاد الأفريقي، منذ يوليو (تموز) الماضي، في الوصول إلى اتفاق حتى الآن. وتطالب القاهرة بوضع قواعد لملء وتشغيل السد، الذي تقيمه أديس أبابا منذ عام 2011 على (النيل الأزرق)، الرافد الرئيسي لنهر النيل، حيث تخشى تأثيره على حصتها من المياه، البالغة 55.5 مليار متر مكعب سنوياً.
