The news of WNBA star Kelsey Plum and NFL giant Darren Waller's divorce after just one year of marriage has shocked fans and followers alike. The couple, who seemed to have a fairytale romance, announced their split on social media, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for their separation.

A two-time WNBA champion with the Aces, Plum began dating Waller while the latter played for the Las Vegas Raiders.

Plum is a two-time WNBA champion and is on the Team USA women’s basketball roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics. USA women’s basketball is in pursuit of its eighth consecutive Olympic gold medal when the event begins on July 28.
