A notorious video blogger from Tajikistan has been sentenced to 28 months behind bars by a Russian court after a tasteless prank in which he pretended to be infected with coronavirus caused Moscow’s metro to sound the alarm. Karomat Dzhaborov was found guilty of hooliganism by a judge in the Russian capital on Monday over the stunt, which was filmed by his friends in February last year, just as fears of the emerging virus were beginning to pick up.
