San Andreas, CA…Drift smoke from the #RiverFire in the Mariposa area and the #HenryFire on the U.S. Forest Service-Stanislaus National Forest near Spicer Reservoir is impacting most of the CAL FIRE Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit (TCU.) Some community members are also experiencing a heavy smell of smoke. While the smoke is concerning, the Emergency Command Center is being inundated with non-emergency calls regarding the drift smoke which in turn takes valuable resources away from actual emergency calls.
