Bhubaneswar, on Wednesday, reported single highest spike in COVID-19 cases. The Capital city registered a total of 1044 cases in the last 24 hours, including 219 cases from quarantine. With the surge, the total active cases in Bhubaneswar stands at 6493. The death toll in the city is 257. Meanwhile, 447 patients have also recovered today. Khurda district recorded the highest single day spike in the state with 1840 cases.
