Banking services will remain hit for two days from Monday, as over 10 lakh bank employees have called for a nationwide strike. They employees are protesting against the privatization of two public sector banks. The strike call has been given by nine banking unions under the aegis of United Forum of Bank Union. Banking services including loan clearances, cheque deposits are likely to remain affected. The private banks will function as normal.
