Ishan Kishan made an impressive start to his County Championship stint, scoring 87 runs on debut for Nottinghamshire. He has joined the team on a short-term contract to feature in two matches this season. He replaced South Africa’s Kyle Verreynne, who is on international duty in Zimbabwe.
"I'm feeling very excited to get my first taste of playing county cricket in England, and it will be a great chance to showcase my skills," Kishan said.

Mohammad Abbas, who previously played for Hampshire, has joined Nottinghamshire for an extended stint in the County Championship. He was originally scheduled to return in September for the final three matches, but his agreement has been revised to include four additional fixtures in June and July.
“I’m very happy to be staying with Nottinghamshire for more games,” said Abbas. “I’ve really enjoyed my time here so far. “We have started the season really well, so I will be doing everything I can to make sure that carries on for the rest of the summer.”
