But going to Wimbledon isn’t just about watching some Grand Slam tennis, it’s also about the amazing atmosphere, strawberries and cream and the iconic Henman Hill.

So it’s no wonder people are so desperate to attend, and you can actually do so without having a ticket…

Can you go to Wimbledon without a ticket?

Wimbledon is one of the only sporting events in the world that you can turn up to without a pre-bought ticket.

But there’s a catch.

To stand any chance of getting into the grounds or one of the major courts, you must turn up and queue from very early in the morning.

The Queue is a famous part of the event and it starts the evening before each day of action, before growing in size in the early hours of the morning.

So, to have a chance of getting in without a pre-bought ticket, you should arrive well before 9am, as any time after that you are unlikely to gain entry at all.

Should you be one of the lucky few to reach the front of The Queue, you will be able to buy one of the limited Show Court tickets or a Grounds ticket.

All tickets are sold on a best available, one-per-person basis.

Once the capacity has reached its limit, entry will only be possible if someone exits. More details can be found here.

Are tickets still available?

Unsurprisingly, the online ballot for tickets has already sold out.

Successful entrants will have found out who they are, while unsuccessful entrants will know they have missed out.

Those people, along with everyone else, will have to queue for tickets.

The number of tickets handed out to fans in The Queue per day are limited for each court.

Limited tickets are available for Centre Court, No.1 Court and No.2 Court, with prices set between £105 and £40 depending on the day.

Meanwhile, the Grounds Pass costs between £30 and £20, depending on the day, giving you entry to the other courts at SW19.

There are also tickets available for resale and more ticket details and full pricing for Wimbledon 2025 can be found here.
