ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man is recovering after he was hit by a car while walking on North Goodman Street near Corwin Avenue on Sunday.

Rochester Police say the man wasn’t paying attention and walked into traffic around 9:45 p.m. An ambulance took him to the hospital with upper-body injuries and he is expected to survive.

The driver was not ticketed and RPD says drugs or alcohol were not a factor for the driver.
