MCDONALD’S is making a big change to its menu from today, with four popular items being dropped.
After June 17, a popular McFlurry flavour and two limited edition burgers are among the products that customers will no longer be able to order, to the disappointment of fans.
McDonald’s is scrapping its ‘spiciest ever’ burger from menus today The Biscoff McFlurry is also being axed from menus The Steakhouse stack is another menu fans will no longer be able to get their hands onMcDonald'sMcDonald’s often changes up its menu, bringing in new items and axing others in response to customer demand.
From today (June 17), diners will no longer be able to get their hands on the Lotus Biscoff McFlurry, Steakhouse Stack, Cheesy Garlic Bread Dippers, and McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot.
The fast food restaurant relaunched its McSpicy x Frank’s RedHot burger, which is served with spicy mayo and salad on a toasted seeded bun, on May 7.
It costs £5.99 and was said to be the chain’s “spiciest ever” burger.
Another burger being scrapped is the Steakhouse Stack, which features two beef patties topped with cheddar cheese, cripsy onions, red onions and fresh lettuce, drizzled with a black peppercorn sauce and served in a toasted glazed sesame bun.
It has been a hit with customers since its launch in 2023, with one writing online: “McDonald’s Steakhouse Stack 8.5/10 very nice!”
Meanwhile, the chain announced earlier this year that it was relaunching its popular Lotus Biscoff McFlurry from April 17.
The McFlurry, which costs £2.29 or £1.69 for a smaller version, features a Biscoff biscuit crumb swirled onto the soft swerve.
Biscoff fans expressed their delight online when McDonald’s announced the flavour would be returning, with one saying: “Oh my God this is a dream come true.”
Other fans have called for the flavour to be available “all year round”.
Fans of the flavour will still be able to get their hands on the McDonald’s Biscoff frappé, which is blended with ice and Biscoff biscuit crumb, then topped with a caramel flavoured cream and a dusting of biscuit crumbs.
The news comes after the chain confirmed it had axed its Chicken Bacon Caesar Wrap, which was first launched in 2023, from menus in May as part of a “rotation” of its wrap offering.
New items coming to McDonald’s
However, customers will be happy to know that the chain is bringing back some other much-loved items.
From June 18, the Cheesy McCrispy (£6.69), Halloumi Fries, and a toffee and apple pie will be added to menus.
Replacing the Biscoff flavour will be the Toffee Crisp McFlurry, at £2.39.
The chain is also launching a new burger to its line-up.
The Big Arch burger, £7.99, will feature two beef patties, white cheddar cheese slices, crispy onions, fresh onions, shredded lettuce, crunchy pickles, finished with a layer of signature Big Arch sauce.
The Katsu chicken wrap is also staying on menus longer than previously planned.
How to save at McDonald's
You could end up being charged more for a McDonald's meal based solely on the McDonald's restaurant you choose.
Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30% cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.
You can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 at any time by filling in a feedback survey found on McDonald’s receipts.
The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.
You’ll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.
There are some deals and offers you can only get if you have the My McDonald’s app, so it’s worth signing up to get money off your meals.
The MyMcDonald’s app can be downloaded on iPhone and Android phones and is quick to set up.
You can also bag freebies and discounts on your birthday if you’re a My McDonald’s app user.
The chain has recently sent out reminders to app users to fill out their birthday details – otherwise they could miss out on birthday treats.
