Manchester City are the reigning champions from 2023 but they face clubs such as Spain’s Real Madrid and Germany’s Bayern Munich in this tournament.

Now, the most successful club sides from each of the six international confederations – AFC, CAF, Concacaf, CONMEBOL, OFC and UEFA – are up against each other from 14 June to 13 July in a bid to win the trophy and be crowned the new Club World Cup Champions.

Who is competing in the 2025 Club World Cup?

The reigning champions are Manchester City and the hosting team is David Beckham’s Inter Miami CF.

The teams taking part this year are:

Club World Cup 2025 format and full schedule

The top two teams from each group then go on to qualify for the knockout stage of the competition.

However, unlike the World Cup, there is no third-place play-off.

How can I watch the Club World Cup in the UK?

DAZN has exclusive broadcasting rights for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.

Viewers will need to sign up for a free account to watch via the streamer and then will be able to use the DAZN app to watch via TVs, smartphones and other devices.

Highlights from the tournament will be available on the Channel 5 YouTube channel and social accounts each day.
