Volkanovski’s undefeated streak in MMA’s biggest promotion started right from his 2016 debut.
The Australian scored a second-round stoppage on his inaugural UFC appearance before embarking on a six-fight win streak that led him to his first shot at gold.
He defeated Holloway in his first UFC title bout in December 2019, beat the Hawaiian again in their rematch seven months later, and retained the strap at 145 lbs four times further.
Volkanovski attempted to become a two-division champion in 2023, but was defeated twice by lightweight king Islam Makhachev, who appears further down in this list.
