Joining the new wave icon and electronic music pioneer on the trek will be fellow ‘80s hitmakers Haircut 100 as well as ‘80s radio personality Richard Blade, known for his years on KROQ Los Angeles and SiriusXM’s First Wave.
At the time of its release, Dream Into Action reached No. 2 on the U.K. charts and hit the top 10 of the Billboard 200 in the U.S. with such hits as “Things Can Get Better.” That song experienced a resurgence recently thanks to a placement in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things.
“I’m so excited. American tour coming up in September. Bringing my great friends Haircut 100 and the wonderful Richard Blade. Can’t wait to share that with you,” he said. “40 years since the release of Dream Into Action so we need to celebrate. See you there!” he added before signing off with an air kiss.
