Beauty influencer Guava Shuishui, known online as Guava Beauty, has died.
“I regret to tell you that our favorite beauty and food broadcast treasure girl, Guava Shuishui, officially took off her beauty equipment on May 24, 2025, and flew to heaven with an endless appetite and a smile to open a new channel,” a statement read on her Instagram last month, translated from Chinese to English. “Although this trip came suddenly, Shuishui held on to every difficult moment, just like she has always been — hard-working, serious, and shining.”
The statement continued, “Thank you to everyone who has liked, left a message, and laughed with her, and thank you for your love and support. She really keeps it in her heart and cherishes it very much. Guava Shuishui just changed her place and continued to shine. When we meet again one day, she should have already unboxed the Angel-specific co-branded makeup and mukbang over there.”
Alongside the statement, a video of her waving at the camera was uploaded to her account. A cause of death has not been announced.

Several outlets reported that she was 24. Her last post was shared on April 23.
The influencer, who has amassed more than 12,000 followers, is known for consuming makeup products on camera. In a November 2024 video, she applied the blush on her cheeks — before placing the product on a fork and putting it in her mouth. As she bit down on the blush, she closed her eyes and grimaced.
“New project!! I’ve wanted to make this theme into a unit for a long time. Although it’s controversial, I really like it. I don’t care. Anyway, this project is not allowed to be watched by people under 6 years old and it is forbidden to eat,” she wrote via Instagram in Chinese, translated to English via Meta. ““ Please leave a message below about the cosmetics you want to see!”
Users were quick to weigh in in the comments section on her decision to taste test the product.

“I understand that it is unavoidable to eat some of the lipstick or lip gloss, but please don’t deliberately eat it and try to promote this behavior,” one user wrote, translated to English, while another added, “It is recommended not to eat cosmetics, which is bad for your health.”
In another Instagram video shared in March, the beauty influencer applied a gloss to her lips before putting the applicator on her tongue and testing the product. She immediately gave a pained expression as she began to fan her face.
