After Punjab Kings won the toss and opted to bowl first, Virat Kohli and Phil Salt opened the innings for RCB. While Virat Kohli made sure to keep his wicket safe, he never really looked to shift the gears before being finally dismissed in the 15th over.
While the likes of Salt, Mayank Agarwal and Rajat Patidar hit a flurry of boundaries, Virat Kohli hardly showed any intention to go for the big shot. At the end of the powerplay, he was batting on only 13 runs off 10 balls.
Unsurprisingly, his slow knock did not go down well with a number of fans who wasted no time in bashing him on social media.

Punjab chasing an elusive title
Punjab Kings had chased down 204 runs against Mumbai Indians at the same venue last Sunday and will be fancying their chances again. The Shreyas Iyer-led side will look to avenge the humiliating loss it suffered at the hands of RCB in the first qualifier.
Both RCB and Punjab Kings are eyeing their maiden IPL title and are playing the final after a decade. Punjab Kings are playing the final after 11 years with their first and last appearance coming way back in 2014. On the other hand, RCB's third and last final appearance came in 2016.
