CANDY lovers at Trader Joe’s have been rushing to grab a new offering before it’s too late.
The beloved item is selling out fast at the retailer’s over 600 stores, and it’s only available for a few more weeks.

“If you haven’t gotten a chance to try the Dubai Chocolate, I highly suggest you run to your nearest Trader Joe’s to snag a bunch before they fly off the shelves,” a post from Trader Joe’s Kitchen (@traderjoeskitchen) reads on Instagram.
The staffer also added that the cost was only $3.99 per bar, the “cheapest” they’d “ever seen” a Dubai-style bar go for.
Dubai-style chocolate, in general, has caught serious attention from Americans recently, as detailed in a statement on Trader Joe’s website.
The Pistachio Dark Chocolate Dubai Style from Patislove at Trader Joe’s comes with hardened “rich” dark chocolate squares on the outside and pistachio cream and kataifi filling inside.
Kataifi is a type of phyllo dough that is finely shredded, almost noodle-like, and used in many Middle Eastern, Greek, or Turkish dishes, specifically desserts.
Most of the time, it’s sweet, paired with honey, sugar, nuts, or other spices, per the Gourmet Flyer.
It’s also often baked to become crispy, as it is in the Patislove Dark Chocolate Dubai-style treat.
Aside from the kataifi, Pistachio filling accounts for about 50% of the filling recipe for the candy bar, which is more than most Dubai-style offerings, according to Trader Joe’s.
“This rich, textural treat is a must-try for chocolate lovers and trend-chasers alike — and it’s available at your neighborhood Trader Joe’s now through July,” the retailer’s website reads.
MIXED FEELINGS
That means there’s little time left to get it, but a longtime customer pointed out in a Facebook reel that the Dubai Chocolate can’t be bought in bulk anymore.
Instead, there’s a 2-bar maximum “product limit” per trip for Trader Joe’s shoppers.
Others claimed their local Trader Joe’s had a limit of five.
Either way, since the item has garnered so much popularity, Trader Joe’s is trying to ensure all customers who want to try the Dubai-style chocolate offering have a chance to.
Discontinued Trader Joe's Products
Several Trader Joe's items have been discontinued over the years, including:
Matcha Joe-Joe’s Chile Lime Mayonnaise Frozen Spinach Lasagna Banana Waffles Salted Caramel Gelato Island Salsa Cookie Butter Cheesecake Chili Sesame Oil Hi-Protein Veggie BurgerWhile some shoppers have blasted this move, most have been thrilled to try the Patislove Pistachio Dark Chocolate Dubai Style.
GONE IN A FLASH
Some even emphasized that a limit was needed.
“Drove there twice to get this and they’re out and won’t get more in until June 10!” a longtime Trader Joe’s customer wrote in the comments on Trader Joe’s Kitchen’s Instagram post.
“Our TJ’s had a 2-bar limit and completely sold out in two days,” another echoed.
“They said they don’t think they will get it back in because the demand was too high.”
“Ours sold out in a day and a half,” a third fumed.
It wouldn’t be the first time Trader Joe’s has been forced to place limits on its highly sought-after seasonal merchandise.
In April, the viral tote bags it sells from time to time had a limit after shelves were cleared in “less than an hour.”
Trader Joe’s also launched a dupe of a beloved Starbucks drink for $1.99 per can that could soon face a limit.
