Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s COVID-19 cases rose to 15 on Monday as three more individuals tested positive for the virus.

This has been informed by Dr. Nilakantha Mishra, Director of Public Health.

The state has seen no significant spike in infections compared to other regions, with testing primarily targeting those with noticeable symptoms. Only a small percentage of tests are returning positive, Dr. Mishra noted.

The current cases are linked to mild sub-variants of Omicron, and health officials are urging the public not to panic.

The health authorities continue to monitor the situation closely, emphasizing vigilance without alarm, he added.
