Hometown Hero: John O’Grady ...Middle East

This week’s Hometown Hero, presented by Hendrick Southpoint, is John O’Grady.

O’Grady is a Chapel Hill native, a sophomore at NC State, and apart of the Navy ROTC. This summer, he will be taking part in a cross country bike trip titled Journey for Hope. The bike trip is an annual trip organized by the Ability Experience to raise money for people with disabilities. O’Grady has already raised thousands of dollars for people with disabilities before the bike trip has started.
