MI are coming into this game after registering a thrilling win over Gujarat Titans in the Eliminator. The five-time IPL champions beat the Titans by 20 runs to register their first win over them since 2023.
With momentum on their side, MI will be confident of beating PBKS in the upcoming game although they should guard against complacency.

Rohit Sharma and Jonny Bairstow are set to be the openers in the Mumbai Indians Playing 11 for the Qualifier 2. In the last game against GT, they gave MI a solid start with the bat. They added 84 runs for the first wicket and will look to do the same against PBKS as well.
Middle-order: Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya (c), Naman Dhir, Raj Bawa, Mitchell Santner
The likes of Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma got the start with the bat in the last game against GT but neither of them could convert it into a big score. Suryakumar, who is the second-highest run-scorer in the ongoing IPL 2025, departed for 33 runs and will look to score big against PBKS.
He will be Mumbai Indians' main finisher with the bat in the upcoming match as well. Naman Dhir scored just 9 runs in the last game and will look to do better against PBKS. Raj Bawa did not get the chance to either bat or bowl against GT but is expected to retain his spot in the MI Playing 11.
Bowlers: Trent Boult, Jasprit Bumrah, Richard Gleeson
The Mumbai Indians Playing 11 is likely to have three frontline pacers. Trent Boult and Jasprit Bumrah are set to lead the attack. Richard Gleeson is also expected to be a part of the MI Playing 11 if Deepak Chahar fails to recover in time for the match. MI can also use left-arm pacer Ashwani Kumar as an Impact Player like in the last game.
