Jayden Quaintance is already making a name for himself at Kentucky.
On Friday, Kentucky Sports Radio shared a video of the former Arizona State transfer standing next to Anthony Davis’ iconic wingspan photo inside the Kentucky basketball facility. Remarkably, Quaintance was nearly able to match Davis’ absurd wingspan.

— KSR (@KSRonX) May 30, 2025Quaintance reportedly has a wingspan of 7-foot-5, which is just below the 7-foot-5.5 mark that Davis measured at back at the NBA Scouting Combine prior to the draft.
Quaintance’s health will be a big factor in Kentucky’s 2025-26 season. He transferred to UK after suffering a torn ACL during his freshman season at Arizona State. Despite the injury, he’s expected to be a top prospect in the 2026 NBA Draft.
Although he played college basketball this past season, Quaintance was not eligible for the 2025 NBA Draft due to his age. He will not turn 18 years old until July 11 of this year. Last season with the Sun Devils, he averaged 9.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. But he’s really known for his work on the defensive end thanks to the aforementioned wingspan and his instincts. He averaged 1.1 steals and 2.6 blocks per game as a 17-year-old freshman as well in 2024-25.
