Stephen Miller on report of Musk drug use: We're worried about drugs crossing the border ...Middle East

News by : (The Hill) -

White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller on Friday shrugged off a question about new reporting that tech billionaire and adviser to the president Elon Musk sparked concerns on the campaign trail with his drug use.

"The drugs that we're concerned about are the drugs running across the southern border," Miller said.

The New York Times reported that Musk told people during the campaign that he was using ketamine so often that it was impacting his bladder, along with utilizing psychedelic mushrooms and taking ecstasy.

The report also cited photos and messages with people who knew Musk and noted that he would travel every day with a box containing 20 pills. Some of the pills were marked as Adderall, according to The Times.

Friday marks Musk's final day as a special government employee, where he has led the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)) in its efforts to slash the size and scope of government.

Musk is expected to attend a press conference alongside Trump on Friday afternoon at the White House.
