ALL major US banks are set to close down entirely for 24 hours in just a few weeks time.
Customers will need to plan their bank visits in advance as thousands of branches are set to close their doors.

Citibank, Capital One, Bank of America, PNC, and Truist will also be shut for 24 hours.
Most local branches will also be closed as it’s a federal holiday.
In just a few weeks time, Juneteenth will freeze major banks across the nation as it is one of the 11 federally recognized holidays.
Americans have been urged to plan ahead for the closure, although online banking services and ATMs will still be in operation.
Every year major services across the country are affected by the packed holiday schedule.
Easter Sunday and Memorial Day have already caused disruption for vital infrastructures like banks and postal services this year.
The federal institution shuts down on all national holidays with most popular banks and credit unions following suit.
Former President Biden signed legislation on June 17, 2021 making Juneteenth a national holiday.
Falling on June 19, it celebrates the enforcement of the Emancipation Proclamation.
It officially marks the end of slavery in the US as the last enslaved African Americans were freed.
Other recognized holidays include Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Americans will also see other high status offices closed on June 19 too.
The major federal holiday means all government offices will be closed, including both city and state courts.
Social Security offices and the Department of Motor Vehicles will also cease operations as will public schools and libraries.
The holiday will also see USPS shut down all of its post offices across the country and any residential or business mail will not be delivered on June 19.
However, FedEx and UPS will continue as normal, operating its pickup and delivery services.
The stock market will suspend operations too and trash, curbside compost and recycling services will be impacted as sanitation workers take a day off with collection instead taking place the following day.
But not all retailers will be observing Juneteenth as it’s a new holiday.
Costco will be running on Juneteenth as will Walmart, as reported by Deal News.
Shoppers are still advised to check with their local stores before heading out on June 19.
