Number_i’s “GOD_i” scores its second week at No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, on the chart released May 28.
The three-member group’s second single dropped digitally on Jan. 27 and ruled the Japan Hot 100 for the first time on the tally dated Feb. 5. The CD version of the track went on sale May 19 and sold 400,505 copies to power the song back atop the chart. The track comes in at No. 2 for sales and tops downloads this week, while coming in at No. 18 for video views and No. 43 for streaming. “GOD_i” is the boy band’s third No. 1 single and the first to lead for multiple weeks. Other songs by Number_i are charting this week as well, with “i_DOG” at No. 59, “Psycho” at No. 65, “Romijuri” at No. 74, and “Frisco” at No. 78.

This week, the track soared 44-2 after the CD launched with 498,635 copies to rule sales, while also coming in at No. 21 for downloads and No. 35 for streaming.
Mrs. GREEN APPLE’s “Lilac” is down a notch at No. 3, but the three-man band won Artist of the Year at the inaugural MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN 2025 awards held on May 21 and 22 and the track surges 210% in radio airplay. The group’s ”KUSUSHIKI” follows at No. 4, also down a position, but in addition to topping streaming for the second week in a row and sixth time in total, the The Apothecary Diaries Season 2 Part 2 opener also comes in at No. 12 for downloads, No. 65 for radio, No. 3 for video, and No. 21 for karaoke.
Angerme’s “Android wa Yume wo miruka?” debuts at No. 5. It’s the Hello! Project group’s eighth top 5 single, following “Ai Mashou” from 2022.
In other chart moves, Chanmina’s “Sad Song” jumps 53-11 this week on the Japan Hot 100, probably fueled by the recent YouTube THE FIRST TAKE performance of the song by the 26-year-old rapper and producer along with ten finalists of the No No Girls girl group audition project that she helped produce. Other songs by the trilingual artist climbed the chart this week, with “Harenchi” rising 85-58, “Never Grow Up” 93-67, and “B-List” entering at No. 93.
