A stretch of the 55 Freeway in Orange County was closed until further notice due to police activity during rush hour Wednesday afternoon, May 28.
All southbound lanes were closed at Lincoln Avenue and a SigAlert was in place, Caltrans posted on X around 4:30 p.m.
Drivers were urged to find alternate routes and proceed with caution in the area.
