The hamburger is the most popular sandwich in the country, with the typical American eating out and ordering a hamburger 26 times per year, according to Circana.

Fast food fans can score a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for just one cent when they make any purchase.

It’s the same deal that Wendy’s offered last year, although it previously lasted slightly longer than the current promo.
The National Hamburger Day deal is part of the company’s 100 Days of Savings promotions.
Beginning in June, Wendy’s will offer customers a series of offers throughout the summer season, regularly dropping new deals in its app.

Food delivery service Grubhub is also hosting deals on National Burger Day, and Americans can score discounted meals.
The company is currently running its four-week Gold Days of Grubhub+ promotion, and this week is week three.
Grubhub users can take advantage of the “Memorial Day Munchies” deals from through June 1, including from chains like Arby’s and Sonic Drive-In.
Foodies can order Arby’s burgers for the holiday today and enjoy 20% off orders of $25 or more, with savings capped at $7.
Sonic fans can also celebrate National Hamburger Day with 25% off their Grubhub order of $20 or more, with a maximum savings of $6.
Aside from the Grubhub promo, Sonic fans can score a half-price cheeseburger when they order in the chain’s app on after 5 pm through the end of May.
As a handful of chains offer cravable deals for National Hamburger Day, other restaurants are being criticized for overcharging customers.
For example, a McDonald’s diner cried “you should be ashamed” after a $9 meal surged to $19.60 – and employees are complaining too.
Plus, a Popeyes customer complained “this is a joke” after a $15 meal surged to $20 – and that’s before the “extra fees.”
