Ten years after its initial series finale, the popular Disney Channel original series “Phineas and Ferb” is returning to TV for its fifth season.
The show centers around two brothers, Phineas and Ferb and the hijinks they get into with their friends while they try to make the most of each day of their summer vacation.
To celebrate the return of the series, which premieres on Thursday, June 5 at 8 p.m. on Disney Channel, a “Phineas and Ferb” themed Ice Cream truck will be making its way across Los Angeles, Orange County and other parts of Southern California.

“Phineas and Ferb” was created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh and first aired on Disney Channel on August 17, 2007, following the premiere of High School Musical 2. Season 5 will see the return of original cast members, including Vincent Martella, Ashley Tisdale, and Alyson Stoner, as well as some new additions, including David Errigo Jr., who will be taking over the role of Ferb from Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who voiced the role during the first four seasons.
This season also marks the first time the show will be airing since Disney+ launched in 2019. In addition to the show airing on Disney Channel and Disney XD, the first 10 episodes of the new season will be available to stream on Disney+ the day after its June 5 premiere.
