TNT broadcaster Kevin Harlan absolutely stunned fans with his out-of-nowhere remark during Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
But there was a reason why Harlan made the remark as Knicks star Jalen Brunson ran into him during a play in his team’s Game 2 loss to the Indiana Pacers at Madison Square Garden on Friday night.

With the Knicks up 74-72, Pacers big man Obi Toppin caught a half-court pass from inbounder Tyrese Haliburton, dribbled once, faked a pass, and did a euro-step before finishing at the rim.
TNT game analyst Reggie Miller was impressed with the play and said, “That’s what I’m talking about right there. Good action right there.”
But Harlan brought his usual energy and humor into the equation and gave a shocking reaction to the play.
“I’m wet! I’m dirty!” he yelled out.
But it wasn’t about Toppin’s play.
It was about the play before when Knicks star Jalen Brunson tried to save a loose ball, but ran into the broadcasting table and appeared to knock a drink onto Harlan.
Luckily for all involved, no one was hurt, and Brunson ended up saving the ball for Josh Hart to rush down the court and make a layup.
NBA fans were still astonished over Harlan’s call.
“Kevin Harlan, I beg your pardon? “one asked.
“I’m wet, I’m dirty” gonna be a meme for the ages,” another commented.
“Harlan said what??” a third questioned.
“Does Harlan know he’s on live TV” a fourth added.
Unfortunately for the Knicks, they lost 114-109 to the Pacers.
The Knickerbockers are down 0-2 in the series after beating the defending NBA title champion Boston Celtics.
