A resurfaced video of Manny Pacquiao after his last professional fight is cause for concern ahead of his return to boxing.
The lone eight-weight world champion is set to step back between the ropes on July 19 against WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios in Las Vegas.

The Filipino legend was soundly beaten over the distance and looked everyone one of his 42 years as he struggled to get on the inside of Ugas’ ram-rodding jab.
Pacquiao sustained damage to his left eye during the bout and required five stitches to close a nasty cut.
He also wore some heavy swelling in the aftermath and struggled to open his eyes while his wife, Jinkee, spoon-fed him soup days after the bout.
The video, which was originally uploaded on his partner’s Instagram, recently resurfaced online ahead of Pacquiao’s comeback.
Underneath it, the comment section was filled with worried fans.
Reacting to the clip, one supporter wrote: “Fear it will happen again.”
Another posted: “Pacquiao got spoon-fed by his wife after his last fight, now he is coming back.”
Meanwhile, a third added: “He shouldn’t be boxing at 46.”
Despite his long lay-off and advanced age, the 46-year-old entered the WBC welterweight rankings at No.5 last week, clearing the path for a controversial shot and the green and gold strap.

Prior to becoming world champion, Barrios was beaten by Gervonta Davis and Keith Thurman in back-to-back bouts in 2021 and 2022.
Pacquiao defeated the latter in 2019 to lay claim to the WBA welterweight title in his final professional win.
However, he is no longer the same fighter he once was.
