DOCTOR Odyssey finale ratings have been revealed as viewers have begged ABC to give the show a second season amid cancellation rumors.
Doctor Odyssey wrapped up its first season on May 15, as the ABC series stars Joshua Jackson, Don Johnson, Phillipa Soo and Sean Teale.

The turn out ranked Doctor Odyssey as the seventh most-watched show on ABC for the week behind American Idol, Will Trent, 9-1-1 and more.
But the number is an over one million viewer drop from the September 26, 2024 premiere, as 4,226,000 watched.
The highest-rated episode of the season was the premiere, while the lowest-watched was the April 17 show with 2,489,000 viewers.

Earlier this month, ABC revealed its fall lineup.
But missing from the set of shows was Doctor Odyssey, sparking cancellation rumors among fans.
Show 9-1-1: Nashville, which is the second spinoff of the 9-1-1 franchise, will air on Thursday at 9pm in Doctor Odyssey’s timeslot.
President of Disney Television Group Craig Erwich confirmed the show would not be a part of the schedule, as he confirmed cancellation speculation.
The studio executive told Deadline, “Doctor Odyssey isn’t currently on our schedule.
“Ryan’s [Murphy] really busy. He’s doing a lot with us. 9-1-1, 9-1-1 Nashville, All’s Fair.
“So we’re just continuing that creative conversations with him.”
FAN REACTIONS
Fans turned to social media to express their concern over Ryan Murphy’s cruise ship medical drama.
One fan wrote, “Please renew Dr. Odyssey! You cancel all my favorite shows all the time!”
A second begged, “How do you put out a schedule without knowing the fates of your programs?”
A third commented, “I don’t think there is room on ABC’s schedule for Doctor Odyssey if renewed to get 18 episodes.”
“What is the deal with the constant delay of Doctor Odyssey’s fate?” a fourth asked.
And a fifth added, “Not looking good for Doctor Odyssey. I wish they’d just say it.”
SCHEDULE SHAKEUP
ABC’s fall schedule revealed renewed shows and time shake ups.
It was confirmed Ryan Seacrest will take over Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune from Pat Sajak for season six.
The game show will now be airing on Fridays at 8pm instead of Wednesdays, which has resulted in a move for another show.
Shark Tank will now air on Wednesdays just behind The Golden Bachelor.
Other shows that have been renewed for the 2025-2026 season include Abbott Elementary, The Rookie, 9-1-1, Shifting Gears, Will Trent, The Bachelor, Dancing with the Stars, Grey’s Anatomy and more.
SHOW CANCELLATIONS
This comes as networks have been slashing shows for the 2025-2026 season.
NBC canceled multiple shows to make room for the NBA season, as they required rights to the sports games for the first time since 2002.
Multi-camera shows Night Court and Lopez vs Lopez received the axe.
Suits LA was also canned after just one season.
Mark-Paul Gosselaar’s Found and The Irrational were also both canceled after just two seasons.
Ten shows have been renewed.
CBS has ended many shows as well, including S.W.A.T after eight seasons.
Reality competition show The Summit was canceled after it received harsh reviews.
Comedy The Neighborhood starring Cedric the Entertainer and New Girl’s Max Greenfield will end after eight seasons.
Another show that is done at CBS is Queen Latifah‘s The Equalizer.
Sitcom Poppa’s House starring Wayans family members, Damon Sr. and his son Damon Jr. is also done.
Streamers are also not safe, as Netflix cut The Recruit, Territory, The Sandman and The Empress.
Peacock said goodbye to the horror-thriller series’ Teacup and Hysteria!.
Joining the shows being dropped from the streaming service are Mr Throwback and dark comedy Based on a True Story, which stars Kaley Cuoco.
