The Denver Broncos regular season schedule was set in stone a few weeks ago, and now their preseason schedule featuring three games against NFC opponents has been finalized.

The Denver Broncos will prepare for the 2025 NFL regular season with a three game preseason slate. After their initial 2025 schedule was released, their preseason dates and times have officially been finalized as of Wednesday afternoon.

The Broncos will have two road preseason contests and one home matchup. They’ll kick off the preseason with a matchup against the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday, Aug. 9th, with a 6:30 p.m. MT kickoff. After that, they’ll host the Arizona Cardinals at Empower Field at Mile High on Saturday, Aug. 16th, with a 7:30 p.m. MT kickoff.
Denver will conclude their preseason slate with a trip to New Orleans to take on the Saints on Saturday, Aug. 23rd, with an 11:00 a.m. MT kickoff.
Throughout the first two weeks, it’s expected that the Broncos will conduct a joint training camp practice with the 49ers in Santa Clara, prior to their matchup. New additions Dre Greenlaw and Talanoa Hufanga will have a chance to see some familiar faces after departing San Francisco this offseason during NFL Free Agency.
The Cardinals will participate in a joint practice in Denver with the Broncos before their matchup in Week 2 of the preseason. Denver and Arizona concluded last year’s preseason slate with a Week 3 matchup.
Denver’s road game against the New Orleans Saints will be the first time the two teams have faced off before the NFL regular season.
